Panasonic AG-AF101E and Lumix GH2
Digitalcut were lucky enough to obtain one of the first AF101's in the country, and we are still getting to grips with it's amazing flexibility.
The AG-AF101 is revolutionary, is the first ever portable HD camcorder in the world to feature a large film-size sensor, so for the first time in digital history filmmakers, video producers and lighting cameraman alike can now achieve a shallow depth of field, throwing that background out of focus.
The lens combinations are almost endless, and now we have a Lumix GH2, we can share high quality optics with amazing still camera that itself can shoot full HD video!
Reflecmedia with prompter
Traditional ChromaKey involves a professional studio setup with a large green screen background, complex lighting and a large studio, Digitalcut's Reflecmedia Chromakey system brings broadcast quality keying to a small office anywhere in the country! Because the 'green' of the key is supplied by a light ring around the camera lens, reflecting off a Chromatte drape, no lighting of the background is needed, so reducing the size of room needed to film in.
It also provides superb results compared to normal green screen backgrounds, have a look at a demo we have produced, it will also play on an iPad and iPhone.
Editsuite
We have 2 PC based edit suites using CS5.5 Premiere, both are capable of editing and mastering using Full HD, XDCAM,DVCAM, DV and HDV formats. Unlike your average suites ours give full resolution external monitoring, have carts systems for backup and massive 2TB hard drives for editing. We also have a VAIO with CS5 for editing on location, it has a 2TB external RAID drive for storage.
They available for wet hire. Basic tuition and full Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro training is also available.

Autocue
Our Autocue is highly portable - and can be used on just about any size of camera, fitting both PMW 350 sized cameras and our EX1's. It comes with a 15inch Macbook that has the prompting software on and Office suite. Scrolling is simply done with a mouse or keys. The viewing screen is 10inches wide which is an advantage when filming in cramped spaces as it allows you to get close to the subject without noticing any 'scanning' of the subjects eyes.
